THANK YOU!
In
2010, a portion of the proceeds from the Simple Language books went to Global
Health Innovations. This is an incredible organization that helps mothers and
children gain access to better prevention and treatment programs for the many
diseases that cause high mortality in resource-limited countries. Through
education, the HIT program, testing and treatment they tackle problems that
leave children vulnerable and orphaned: problems such as HIV/AIDS, Malaria and
malnutrition. This is an organization with great heart!

In 2009, a
portion of proceeds from the Simple Language books went to an amazing
organization called Journey
to Me. Journey to Me is committed to strengthening families and to helping
adopted children thrive. They provide quality post-adoption education and
comprehensive resources in support of adoptive families. If you are an adoptive
family we recommend taking some time to work your way through the audio library
and the excellent articles on the site.
In
2008, a portion of the proceeds from the purchase of the Simple Language books
and CDs went to Compassion International’s Highly Vulnerable Children’s Fund
which serves children in many different countries. Losing one or both parents is
devastating for any child. But that loss can be life threatening for a child
living in extreme poverty. Under such conditions, a child without a parent may
no longer have food to eat or a home in which to live. Donations to the Highly
Vulnerable Children's Fund meet the unique needs of at-risk children beyond what
the core Compassion’s Child Sponsorship Program can supply. The fund helps
provide:
• nurturing home environments led by caring adults for children who have no
family to care for them
• nutritional supplements
• psychosocial support
• income-generating projects and skills training for caregivers and older
orphans
• clothing, and much more

Thank you
for being a part of this very important work.
In 2007, a portion of the proceeds from the Simple
Language books went to improve the lives of Haitian orphans in a child care
facility as they waited for their families. The money was used to help
contribute to a play area with lots of new puzzles and learning toys, toy
storage, play mats, a mirror, a white board for drawing, a play farm, and a play
kitchen with food and pots and pans for imaginative play. Thanks for being a
part of the fun and for keeping these bright little minds creative and busy!
